about the artist

I am a Black artist always seeking to expand the diversity of their mediums. I use art as an extension of my voice to explore my heritage as a Black American, interrogate my development as Clarke through the display of experience and recalls of history, and ultimately feed my creativity. From pencil to watercolor to etching to mono-printing to ceramics to digital art, I use all of what I have access to to display my story authentically and uniquely.

Clarke currently attends Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.
